SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

(What to Expect)

Arrival: Doors will open at 5:30pm with a FREE open bar cocktail hour with appetizers from 5:45 – 6:45pm. The bar will become a cash bar for all promptly at 6:45pm.

What to Wear: What are you wearing for Easter the weekend before?? Wear that! :)

Think Spring! Get as dressy as you want, but please NO JEANS. Dressy-casual to formal is appropriate.

Check-in process: When you arrive, please proceed to the table that is setup in the entryway. Here, will ask you for your name and will give you your bid number and table assignment.  If you have not yet put a credit card on file, but plan on making purchases, we can set that up, but please be patient with the process! You will be able to buy a Golden Ticket(s), and other raffle items using your bid number.

Dinner: Plated dinner is set and served at 7PM. Don’t be late!   

 

Dessert Dash: An OLOL favorite and tradition! There will be a Dessert Table displaying a variety of delectable desserts graciously donated by our supporters. The Dash occurs right after dinner.  When you arrive at your table, you will find an envelope that your entire table can use to pool money together. The table who collects the most money gets to pick their dessert first, second highest will go second, so on and so forth.  You can either put cash in the envelop or provide your bid number and the amount of the donation. There are enough desserts for every table, but you might not get the dessert you want. Please note, it is one dessert to share amongst the table.  Be sure to nominate the fastest person at your table to make the Dash!

Silent Auction: All bidding is done online via the Greater Giving website (ololdinnerauction2023.ggo.bid). The silent auction closes at 7:30PM

Class auction items: These items will be on site for your viewing pleasure and are part of the silent auction.  All bidding is done via the Greater Giving website. You can (carefully) take these items home with you that night.  

With not having an auction the past 3 years, we are excited that in addition to this year's class projects, we will also have class projects from 2020 for bid! What great memories you're going to see and want!

Live auction: This will occur promptly after dessert. You can peruse these items on the Greater Giving website but all bidding will be done by raising a paddle high to the sky the night of the auction. 

Non-alcoholic drinks: Coffee, hot tea and water are included with your ticket. 

 

Alcoholic drinks:  CCD has a fully stocked cash bar on-site. 

 

Band:  Straight out of Chicago, we'll have SUSHI ROLL! A fun rock and pop cover band that you'll love - we promise!! If you've been to the Catholic Charities Ball, you know what we're talking about! Check them out at: http://sushirollband.com/

 

Fund-A-Need: We can't "Swing Into Spring" without a swing set! This year's project is to re-vamp the playground area and add swings and other elements to elevate our School and Church environment. Check out the "Fund-A-Need" page on this website for more information.
